Eradicating and eliminating gender-based violence

Gender-based violence is a human rights violation and one of the main threats to the advancement of equality, peace, and development. The FFP is a policy that strengthens our country’s participation in multilateral and regional initiatives to prevent, eliminate, and eradicate violence.

At the institutional level, the FFP will make it possible to create a violencefree environment in all work areas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by implementing mechanisms to prevent workplace and sexual harassment and mistreatment, as well as to create healthy work environments. 

It will also promote the creation of channels to report and sanction workplace and sexual harassment and mistreatment in Chile and in our missions abroad.
